What are cookies?<\/h2>\n<p>Cookies are small text files that a website installs on your device (computer, cell phone or tablet) when you visit it. They allow the site to remember information about your visit &#8211; such as your preferred language, the products in your cart, your user session or your browsing preferences &#8211; to improve the experience and for analytical or advertising purposes. <\/p>\n<p>Along with cookies, similar technologies such as <em>web beacons<\/em> (tracking pixels), <em>local storage<\/em>, browser <em>session storage<\/em> and <em>fingerprinting<\/em> may also be used.
